PIT Activities
The Principal Investments and Trading Division (PIT) manages the firm’s proprietary activities. Trading is primarily arbitrage and hedge oriented. The PIT division is not allowed to trade with or against other Melvin & Company trading divisions. To further separate PIT trading activities, its accounts are carried at separate clearing firms.
