Equity Research Overview
Sustainability Research and Advocacy
Melvin & Company, as part of its focus on Clean Energy and Sustainability issues, conducts analysis on the sustainability record of major US and global corporations and can engage with those corporations on sustainability issues.
Our sustainability analysis is designed to highlight companies with a positive sustainability record and to also identify companies that have sustainability problems that should be screened from portfolios or addressed with advocacy. Melvin & Company can take the lead in gathering a group of like-minded investors and making sure that sustainability concerns are being heard at companies with sustainability problems. Experience has shown that pressure from the socially responsible investment community can have a positive impact in encouraging companies to improve their sustainability record, thus producing an overall benefit for society.
